In honor of Spirit Day, I felt the need to make this. I had two bokeh photos I had taken last Christmas that turned out purple(ish?) so merged three of those with the dandelion photo to give it a purple color, but it also gave it a secluded feel.
I usually don't participate in many "movements," but as someone who constantly got bullied, abused, and harassed throughout life... and still do, this is one subject I will always stand up for.
Some people are strong and can handle it, some people it tears apart.
Alot of people out there (including me, sadly. Though, nothing can really be done at the moment in my case) feel alone and secluded, and many of them actually are. Some of them that aren't can still feel that way, as if they're standing in the middle of a crowded room, screaming, and no one notices they're even there. Next time you see someone weak and in need of help... speak up. Even if you don't know them. A random act of kindness, even if you can't do anything for them, can at least make them feel a little better.
Guess that's why I'm always speaking up for people when I see them get bullied.
I, myself, though I'm not proud of it, have several suicide attempts in my past. I have scars from self harm, thankfully many of them faded... except for the worst one which is in the center of my forehead, I lose it when I have panic attacks. I suffer from a couple of anxiety disorders, the most haunting one (quite literally) is PTSD. I've had it for years.
I used to curl up in a ball when stuff happened, cry about it, and not do anything about it. I've toughened up over the years (though that doesn't mean I don't get to the point of breaking still), so I really do try to help others.
Anyways, tl;dr I know.
It's not much, really, but I thought I could give just this one little bit to the cause, since it's so close to home for me.
Here's the original photo, which was also taken by me. [link]
